Mandy Moore and PSI Talk Foreign Aid and Male Circumcision
PSI provides aid to developing nations worldwide, including circumcision to curb HIV transmission.
Population Services International director Marshall Stowell and global ambassador (and actor) Mandy Moore work with the NGO to bring health services to developing countries. Along with efforts to eliminate malaria and toward an AIDs-free generation, one of PSI's biggest initiatives is male circumcision. This simple procedure reduces the odds of a man acquiring HIV during vaginal sex by up to 60 percent.
