Sixth Grader Adam on Making Friends at STEM3 Academy
The first-of-its-kind school is designed to foster sucess for students with learning differences, like autism spectrum disorder.
Adam, a 6th grader with ADHD who dreams of becoming an entertainer and driving a Mercedes or a Toyota, transferring to STEM3 Academy opened doors for him both academically and socially.
“It’s really amazing because I remember at my old school I would go home crying, I had no friends," Adam said. “Here I’m basically friends with everyone. I don’t really have problems with people because they’re a bunch of kids like me."
